Security & Privacy

Your data security and privacy are core product requirements, not an afterthought.

    Data Protection

Audio is transcribed locally in your browser by default. Supported high-risk mobile attempts may use the guarded remote worker after a visible notice when it is healthy; temporary worker audio and transcript files are deleted after completion or error.

    Encrypted Delivery

The site, model downloads, remote-worker uploads, and third-party service requests are delivered over HTTPS/TLS to protect data in transit.

    Privacy Controls

We keep telemetry metadata-only, avoid sending audio content or transcript text to analytics, and let you choose whether ads and analytics are enabled.

    Browser-First Architecture

TalkToTextly is a static site delivered via CDN. Transcription runs on-device with browser AI runtimes unless fail-closed routing selects the remote worker after a visible notice for a supported high-risk mobile attempt.

    Our Security Commitment

    • • Regular maintenance, dependency updates, and production checks
    • • Clear privacy disclosures for ads, analytics, and third-party services
    • • Minimal telemetry, with no audio payloads sent to analytics
    • • Local-first transcription with explicit, reversible remote-worker routing after a visible notice for supported high-risk mobile attempts
    • • Fast fixes when reliability or trust issues are detected
